Romeo van Bergen op Zoom

Romeo van Bergen op Zoom

by Jessika Kortig

Some men collect power like others collect stamps. My former boss in Bergen op Zoom was one of them—a Dutch Romeo who believed his corporate title at Hunkemöller, ICIPARISXL, and H&M entitled him to every woman in his orbit. He craved my Belgian Ginger girlfriend with an obsession bordering on pathology, all while calling me an "Eastern European loser" behind my back. The irony? He ended up having sex with a Ukrainian Ginger to fulfil his inadequate life—but the real plot twist was still to come.

I watched this tragedy unfold from Enschede, documenting Dutch lifestyle through the Ossendrecht Narco project. His need to possess, conquer, and prove masculinity through women's bodies was never about love—it was about power. A cigarette factory director turned movie director, he poisoned himself like a white rat, becoming both National Security Object and Laboratory boss in his own delusional narrative. He believed he was everything against women, a god of corporate and carnal conquest.

Then the Ukrainian Ginger—that motel porntape with the Philip Morris Director—became his final act of desperation. But she was no victim. Today, she is set to marry the Bergen op Zoom National Research Laboratory Director to secure her Dutch passport. Her plan? Sit on his dick, get pregnant, divorce him, and walk away with his house and car—because, as Dutch girls say, he is such a loser. In her own words, whispered to me in an Amsterdam tulip hostel: "I look so innocent—ups, moments happen. I pull our girls' team synchronised undies and catch my cute loving innocent gaze right into a button-size camera. You all will know his Dutch greed is fed." She's already sent the wedding video to her friends, proving what an asshole he is—protected by Netherlands National Security, but the free press would eat him alive, or later life itself.

Meanwhile, I'm private-investigating a missing girl for Ellisette in Amsterdam. This Romeo's story is not just gossip—it's a pattern.

“I am editor-in-chief, Mr. Audrius Razma of Roosendaal Journaal (happily married to his Thai-French wife, awaiting Belgian Ginger's return from prison for that promised baby), endures the same Eastern European dismissal from this director, yet logic and decency prevail. The Romeo thought he was writing a love story—he was really writing a tragedy about a man who never understood that desire without respect is just consumption. Even the fashion capitals of #Bruxelles, #Antwerpen, and #Amsterdam couldn't dress his naked insecurity. #Enschede taught me: style without substance is merely costume. And this Romeo? He's naked in every way that matters.”
